Maryam Abdulkadir

Freelance Learning Facilitator

Maryam Abdulkadir is a dynamic facilitator and instructional designer with over eight years of experience transforming collaboration and training outcomes for diverse teams in Kenya, Nigeria, and the USA. She has designed and delivered workshops for organizations such as USAID, Springer Nature, National Citizen Service, Johns Hopkins University, and, most recently, the International Association of Facilitators. Through these efforts, she has equipped participants with tools to streamline workflows, foster team cohesion, and address stakeholder misalignment.

Having begun her career facilitating in conflict zones, Maryam has honed her leadership skills in managing tense and emotionally charged conversations within specific cultural contexts. After recently taking on the challenge of attending 30 workshops in 30 days, she is eager to share insights into how collaboration often falters in subtle, unnoticed ways, helping her fellow L&D colleagues upskill quickly and effectively.
